Reputation
While posting, commenting and otherwise participating on a Loki site, you gain reputation. This is a number which indicates your helpfulness and standing within the Loki community. You start at 0 and get points for asking questions, answering other people's questions, submitting articles, links, and uploads, and even for commenting. The point system is designed to recognize contributions - posting articles is worth a lot more points than just leaving a one line comment. Additionally, your reputation is influenced by how people rate your questions and comments - if you get rate-ups, your reputation improves automatically.
Once you get to a certain reputation, you are awarded a level. There are 100 total levels divided in the following leagues:
- Greenhorn: Between level 0 and 1 and reputation between 0 and 10
- Novice: Between level 2 and 3 and reputation between 10 and 50
